More than 80 university and college students working on OCE-funded projects will compete live in the 4th annual OCE student competitions. Students presented to an independent panel of judges, with prizes awarded to the top three presentations in the following categories:

Research students enrolled in OCE's Value-Added Personnel Program provided engaging oral presentations focused on why industry needs their research and the potential impact of their work.

This networking hub was a meeting spot for innovators and entrepreneurs who are interested in pursuing international opportunities for collaboration, partnership and commercial expansion. At the International Café, participants had the opportunity to gather and exchange information through pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings with Trade Commissioners and Ontario economic officers from Canadian Embassies and Consulates abroad, and networked with international organizations. Green innovators presented products and services in the Marketplace Theatre and on the Discovery Showcase floor. Over 100 major private, public and non-profit buyers, industry experts, and green technology firms (many who have been supported through OCE) came together to network, explore new technologies and develop strategies to integrate green purchasing for sustainable practices.
