Ontario Centres of Excellence's (OCE's) Connections program brings together final-year college and university undergraduate students and innovative Ontario companies to give students the opportunity to apply technical and professional skills to real-world problems. Connections helps students grow as innovators and leaders in business through hands-on learning experiences by working directly with industry experts. To learn more about Connections, click here.
Participating institutions will submit their top projects for consideration for the Connections Competition at Discovery. A panel will review the submissions and pick finalists who will present their projects at the conference where awards of $2,000 will be presented for Best University and Best College Project.
The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) is a major supporter of OCE's Connections program, encouraging companies to consider energy conservation related projects by creating OPA Energy Connections. An additional $2,000 award will be presented for the Best OPA Energy Conservation Project. Click here to learn more about OPA's involvement with Connections.
*Note: This competition is only open to students already part of the Connections Program
